WHAT TIME CAN THE OUTDOOR MOVIE START?
Our projectors are bright enough to see images on the movie screen 15 minutes before sundown.  For the best possible movie experience we suggest starting the movie 10  minutes after sundown.  Sunset times are available fromSunriseSunset.com.

DOES BACK PORCH CINEMA HAVE INSURANCE?
Back Porch Cinema maintains a general liability insurance policy.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?
If it rains on the day of your event we will gladly attempt to reschedule your event.  If it rains on this date we will gladly refund your deposit for the event.

WHAT DO I NEED TO PROVIDE?
Ideally we would like an outdoor electrical receptacle.  However, we can provide a generator rental at an additional cost.  We have a DVD Player and laptop.  For video games we ask you provide your own console and controllers.  For live or subscription based events you will need to provide the cable box. (We provide the connectivity and cables etc..)

DO I NEED TO OBTAIN A LICENSE?
If you are showing the movie at home the answer is no.  However, in public you would need to obtain a license.  Obtaining a public performance license is relatively easy .   Back Porch Cinema can help you with this process, but you do not pay us for the license.  

The licensing companies determine fees by such factors as the number of times a particular movie is going to be shown, how large the audience will be and so forth.  Most licensing fees are based on a particular performance or set of performances for specified films. HOW MUCH NOTICE DO YOU NEED TO CANCEL MY EVENT?
We ask for 48 hours before.  If it is less we keep your deposit.  However, we will put this deposit towards another event.

WHAT IS YOUR OPERATING RADIUS?
We have a 50 mile operating radius from Evansville, In.  However, we are willing to negotiate if your event is outside the radius
